Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

Extension of deadline for the 2010 Readers' Choice Survey and Awards

The Global Reporting Initiative, provider of the world’s most widely-used ESG disclosure framework, is providing the readers of "sustainability" -- or "CSR" reports with the chance to influence the future of reporting.

By filling out the Survey, you can give your opinion on how organisations can improve their communication on their ESG performance. Moreover, you get the chance to vote for the reports that you like best and nominate them for the Awards.

For the first time, the GRI's Readers' and Reporters' survey report will show whether reports really meet the needs of their target audiences, and more importantly, whether these reports actually change people's views and behaviour.

GRI has extended the deadline for the 2010 Readers' Choice Survey and Awards until March 3. This means that there are almost three more weeks left for organizations and report readers to participate in this competition!

The awards and survey results will be announced at the "2010 Amsterdam Global Conference on Sustainability and Transparency", to be held on 26-28 May, 2010.

Have your say on the state of sustainability reporting today by visiting: http://awards.globalreporting.org.
