The "Together for Children" Association was founded in Greece in 1996. It is a nonprofit NGO, comprising 10 member-organizations that work in the field of child welfare and is managed by a Board of Directors composed of representatives of its 10 member-organizations.
The Association's main aim is to offer every form of assistance to children and young people in need, particularly to those facing social exclusion, domestic violence, chronic diseases, mental or physical disabilities, or the sickness or death of an immediate family member. The mission-statement of this unique alliance is "power through unity."
With the objective of helping more children, the Union created and operates since February 2009 the "115 25 Together for Children Helpline", a free helpline, staffed by psychologists and social workers (bound by a code of confidentiality as registered professionals) that provides counseling and one-to-one appointments for children, young people and parents. Apart from the funds that we raise through campaigns and fund-raising events, our goals are supported by the business community and individual donors.
The funds raised from all our activities are distributed equally to our 10 members.
