Norway is a petroholic nation, which depends largely on oil, a fossil and polluting energy source that is soon exhausted. With the Deepwater Horizon-disaster in the Gulf of Mexico as a tragic reminder of how risky oil exploitation is, Bellona suggests rehabilitation for all petroholics.
