Bellona's programme at ONS 2010
The environmentalist foundation Bellona will be present at the oil and gas conference ONS 2010 from August 24-27, promoting the environmentally friendly solutions needed to stop climate change.
The biennal ONS is among the most important meeting places for the oil industry world-wide. Among the more than 40,000 ONS 2008 visitors was a Bellona team, and also at this year’s conference we will be present to show and demonstrate why renewable energy sources and carbon capture and storage are crucial to combat global warming.
In addition to our own ONS seminar on Monday 23, we will have our own stand in Hall H from Tuesday, August 24 to Friday, August 27, between the renewable and CCS park. Bellona representatives will promote environmentally-friendly solutions, for example Bellona's 101 solutions to the climate crisis, and show why there must be limits to the oil industry.
